Wait! Shouldn’t that be Merry Christmas? Or Happy Hannukah? Or Happy Kwanzaa?
Of course many of us are ramping it up into high gear for the impending celebration season. Family, friends, and extended community events are plugged into everyone’s calendars. Delicious food, parties, and generally a little more extravagance will be celebrated in many homes over the next 2 weeks. Most of us are also sharing and donating to our favourite causes and charities.
So how is it Investor Season?
This is often the time we are reminded about what matters most to us—about WHY we work hard and invest for our future. For many, their loved ones are at the top of the list: family, partners, fur-babies, …. For others, warm travel opportunities are just around the corner. And for some, their lives are in transition—creating a puzzling but exciting space of questioning, and setting new goals and priorities.
Investor season is also the time where we celebrate the past decade of successes, mistakes, lessons learned and goals achieved. Families and friends come together, the wine (or other beverage!) flows, and then the stories are told with lavish detail. Yes, party season is about celebrating, remembering and sharing with the people who matter most to us.

And as we enjoy every story, delicious bite and friendship, we are re-fuelling and reminding ourselves WHY we will be working hard towards our financial freedom in 2020.
